We won’t stop until we’re treated fairly.

John –

They say I'm essential, but I don't get treated like it.

My manager won't let me wear a mask so that I can protect customers and myself from coronavirus. Other McDonald's workers I know don't even have gloves.

If we get sick, who's gonna take care of our bills? 500,000+ McDonald's workers don't get paid sick leave.

So I walked out and went on STRIKE to draw attention to what's going on. We need to be treated like the essential workers we are.

Let everyone know we WON'T rest until these companies protect ALL workers. Share this now!

McDonald's workers are walking off the job.

I'm not the only essential worker who has taken my health and safety into my own hands.

Amazon workers went on strike because warehouses aren't properly cleaned.

Instacart workers went on strike because they can't get hand sanitizer.

And McDonald's workers nationwide have taken action to demand better protection and economic security!

It's not right. We're struggling, and the world needs to know!

Share our stories on Facebook, and send a message that if they're going to call us essential, they need to treat us that way.

P.S. If you're an essential worker like me, take a look at some resources that might be useful to you like how to apply for food assistance or what to do if you've been put on unpaid leave.
