Biden's SCOTUS Defiance Escalates

Happening Now: SCOTUS ruled that 4 million in student loans was unlawfully forgiven and unconstitutional. This set a dangerous precedent for a further 10 million loans imminently slated for forgiveness, with an additional 23 million borrowers potentially having all interest wiped unless we turn up the heat on Congress!

This egregious overreach constitutes one of the most flagrant instances of electioneering in the nation's history, where political expediency overrides legal integrity and fiscal responsibility.

• Biden's new plan aims to cancel up to $20,000 in interest accrued on borrower's student loans, irrespective of income level.

• Interest would be completely forgiven for individuals in an income-driven repayment plan earning less than $120,000 annually, with the threshold doubled for married couples.

• The proposal seeks to forgive interest balances for approximately 25 million borrowers, as announced by the White House on Monday morning.

Despite bipartisan opposition and a Supreme Court ruling against Biden's initial attempt at student loan forgiveness, the administration persists in expanding its plans, driven by either desperation, lawless defiance, or both.

It's evident that the Left aims to court favor with a shrinking voting bloc through these measures. However, the American people must remain vigilant and resolute in defending our principles and rejecting such blatant attempts to manipulate policy for political gain. We cannot allow this administration to trample on constitutional boundaries and disregard the will of the people. It's time for Congress to stand firm against these reckless actions and uphold the rule of law!

Biden Student Loan Cancellation Scheme Defying Supreme Court Ruling and Congress Constitutional “Power of the Purse”:

• The Biden administration's student loan forgiveness program has been deemed unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court in recent rulings, yet persists in its defiance of the law.

• By bypassing Congress and the courts, President Biden is socializing higher education costs for select voting blocs, undermining the principle of separation of powers and the constitutional "power of the purse."

• The Department of Education's continued boasting of "historic steps" under the guise of “relief” in student loan forgiveness is a blatant disregard for the rule of law and the principles of accountability and transparency.

• The Department of Education has devolved into a weaponized, partisan entity, allocating appropriations unlawfully in a bid to court specific voting blocs on behalf of the Biden Administration.

Today, the Department of Education announced, “President Biden will email an additional 380,000 public service workers thanking them for their service and notifying them they are on track to have their debt canceled through PSLF within two years.”

“The Biden-Harris Administration announced today the approval of $5.8 billion in additional student loan debt relief for 77,700 borrowers. Today’s announcement brings the total loan forgiveness approved by the Biden-Harris Administration to $143.6 billion for 3.96 million Americans. This action builds on President Biden and his Administration’s efforts to provide debt relief to as many borrowers as possible as quickly as possible.”

Biden's administration has socialized education for a broad spectrum of public servants, including state and government workers, teachers, nurses, social workers, and firefighters-a largely unionized public sector. By characterizing student loans as containing "trap doors," the administration seeks to justify its circumvention of Congress's "power of the purse."

Despite clear rulings from the U.S. Supreme Court and the limitations set forth by Congress, the Biden administration continues to execute its unconstitutional and lawless debt cancellation, first, targeting voting blocs that are largely unionized and secondly targeting a bloc made up of younger, unlikely voters.
