Friend,

I’m just writing to say thank you.

To everyone who’s donated, volunteered, signed the petition to get us on the ballot, shared one of our posts on social media, or told a friend about this campaign, you have made this real. I couldn’t have done any of this without you and it means the world to me that I get to be a part of this with you, even in this incredibly difficult moment in our country’s history.

Our team will continue to do our part. We’ve accelerated our entire organizing program to an online model, and the commitment I’ve seen from our organizing team to show up every single day for this community -- making thousands of calls, sending thousands of texts, just checking in on people to see if they’re okay and if they need groceries or prescriptions -- it’s inspiring and it makes me want to fight even harder.

We’re going to keep showing up for one another. We’re going to keep talking about the really big, aspirational changes we can make for a better Texas -- where the ability to see a doctor isn’t tied to a job, where every single person gets paid what they deserve, and where we have a functioning democracy again.

We achieved truly historic turnout in the primary. And that's only the beginning.

So thank you, again, for letting me be a part of this with you. Ready for the road ahead.
