** Upcoming RTÉ programme set to once again ignore massive scandals related to new abortion law
------------------------------------------------------------

Next Monday, “RTÉ Investigates” is set to air a programme that claims Ireland’s abortion law is not pervasive enough despite the abortion rate having skyrocketed since 2019. The official promo for the programme also indicates it will feature an “undercover” sting operation into the counselling practices of certain groups that don’t support abortion.

For the past fifteen years or more, the public has been bombarded with the same Prime Time programmes on RTÉ, all depicting abortion in a one-sided way that favours the pro-abortion side and demonises pro-lifers through highly questionable editorial decisions over what to present and withhold from the public.

** Planned Parenthood laments not being able to proceed with ‘coercive’ abortion on minor
------------------------------------------------------------

In a recent 911 call, a Planned Parenthood employee in North Carolina is heard reporting an incident to police involving a 16 year old girl who had just confided to clinic staff that she was accompanied at the clinic by individuals who were forcing her to abort her baby against her will.

Describing to police what was taking place, the Planned Parenthood employee said to police: “…we have a minor who did, um, disclose to us that, um, she’s being forced to have her procedure today. Unfortunately, my provider will not do the procedure if she’s being forced.”

In the episode which happened a fortnight ago, the Planned Parenthood staff member clearly lets the mask slip by declaring it “unfortunate” that the coercive abortion would not be able to proceed. Once the girl confided that she didn’t want the procedure, Planned Parenthood had little choice but to report the incident to police.

** Mississippi abortion ban saves 1,500 babies in first six months
------------------------------------------------------------

As debate rages across the US on abortion laws in a post Dobbs decision environment, it’s important to keep track of the impact of new pro-life laws and the lives saved, as opposed to the round the clock lies being broadcast by media outlets that falsely claim laws protecting the right to life of unborn babies puts women’s lives at risk.

Since the Dobbs ruling in 2022 (the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v Wade), evidence has shown a marked decrease in abortions in states where laws have shifted in a pro-life direction.
