This should come as no surprise, given how many times they’ve tried this before: Trump and his allies are working behind-the-scenes to strip Medicare and Social Security programs from vulnerable Americans across the nation.

Trump’s record speaks for itself. Every year in office, he plotted to cut Social Security and Medicare programs. His base, including extremists in Congress, consistently fall in line and threaten this and other life-saving programs.

That’s why I need your help to defend the ACA. I’m looking for 1,000 people to sign my petition by midnight tonight. Will you sign on to my petition today to stand against such threats? [[link removed]]

As a doctor and former county Chief Medical Officer, I have seen first hand how important the ACA is and how many families have benefited from it.

This landmark law has expanded affordable health care access for so many people in Sacramento County and around the country.
