I am S-C-R-A-M-B-L-I-N-G trying to find the extra $38,126 we need to reach
our mid-month fundraising goal. I’m running around like a chicken with my
head cut off. I’m reviewing the numbers again and again and no matter
which way you slice and dice it—if we don’t grow the program today we’ll
come up short.

It’s my job to know exactly how much we need to raise, exactly when we
need to raise it to beat back against the attacks and win. And when a race
is this competitive, there is zero room for error. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

I have no doubt in my mind that Montana will be the closest race in the
country. And every time we miss a fundraising goal, that hurts our ability
to air TV ads and make sure voters hear our response to dishonest, false
attacks against Jon.

Allowing outside groups to dominate the airwaves could cost us the whole
shebang! NOT KIDDING.
