women are the defenders of our home, community and country and are
prepared to lead in the moment. That’s why we have convened with four
other preeminent Black women-lead national organizations to create
compelling content to gather Black women online across the country to
be informed, engaged, to take action and practice self care and joy
during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This week, together with
Advancement Project National Office, BlackPAC, National Women’s Law
Center and The League we launched the ‘The
Sip’ a Facebook Live
series.
The Sip each week will gather for a
Power Lunch on Wednesdays, Happy Hour on Fridays and Sunday Brunch
with Higher Heights connecting Black women to thought-leaders and
innovators across sectors from government, non-profit and corporate
to entertainment, culture and lifestyle.
