After months of abortion rights activists fighting like hell to gather signatures, rallying support, and challenging far-right lawsuits, organizers have overcome the final hurdle: Florida voters will have the chance to codify abortion rights in their state constitution this fall!

This is a HUGE victory in the fight to defend reproductive freedom. In Michigan, we’re no stranger to tough fights like this. This team wrote the playbook to win ballot initiatives like this when voters overwhelmingly passed Proposal 3 by 11 points — enshrining the fundamental freedom to choose in our state’s constitution.
