The Democratic Party
-----------------------
Samuel --
Over the past few weeks since Election Day, Donald Trump has
been hard at work backtracking on his campaign promises.
But if you've been wondering whether that means he might actually
start to heed the thousands of scientists and decades of research
when it comes to climate change... well, not so much.
His incoming chief of staff, Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus,
has assured us that denying climate science -- or "a bunch of bunk,"
as he referred to it -- is Trump's "default position."
Samuel, rolling back the progress we have made under President Obama
to bring the world together on this critical issue is going to be at
the top of Trump's reality-denying to-do list. We simply cannot
let him go unchecked.
This is an important fight not just today, but for the generations to come.
We have an obligation to combat climate change and stop Republican
attempts to roll back protections that keep our air safe to breathe and
water safe to drink. So if you can, pitch in $3 or more today to help us
stand up to Trump and the GOP and show that Democrats believe in
reality, trust scientists, and are ready to fight for our planet:
