This week, Republicans on the Florida Supreme Court upheld a six week abortion ban passed by Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Republican legislature - banning abortion before most women even know they're pregnant.

Then Republicans on the Arizona Supreme Court upheld a complete abortion ban passed in 1864 - before women could even vote.

These bans are beyond cruel - they endanger women's health and lives. And they violate our fundamental freedom to control our own bodies.

But in both Florida and Arizona - and several more states - we can overturn Republican tyranny by passing abortion rights referenda in November.
