Today, I released 57 interim charges that reflect issues that Texans have asked us to study. Our 31 senators submitted hundreds of ideas, with many senators sharing similar proposals. My staff and I worked diligently for weeks to review each request, and this is the first set of interim charges I am releasing in preparation for the 89th Legislature. We may release a second shorter list of additional charges before next session. You can read more about them here. Here is a list of all 57 charges for the Senate.
I spent the week traveling around the state talking to Texans about their concerns for Texas and America, future policies, and how important the upcoming election is for the survival of our country and the American Dream.

Speaking at Grace Woodlands
After full days in Houston on Monday and Dallas-Fort Worth on Tuesday, I got back to speak at Grace Woodlands Church on Wednesday. My longtime friend, Pastor Steve Riggle, asked me to speak on the church family's 90th anniversary. I love speaking with a little preaching and testimony whenever possible. They pack it out on Wednesday nights.

A Fundraising Event with Manny Ramirez
Later on Tuesday, I attended a fundraising event supporting Manny Ramirez, whom I endorsed for Tarrant County Commissioner in 2022. He is a former police officer, businessman, strong Christian, and a proven conservative leader.

Sincerely,
Dan Patrick
