We know Republicans are working to destroy reproductive rights from every angle. They're banning abortion -- outright in some states; in others, before many people know they are pregnant. They're fighting to ban medication abortion. They've even attacked IVF, and based on rumblings from certain Republican-controlled legislatures, birth control is likely next. They've made it clear, in other words, that their goal is the destruction of fundamental freedoms for every American who can get pregnant.
And there's one plan of attack that doesn't get enough attention: the Republican plot to rewrite the U.S. Constitution. You read that right: if the GOP controls enough state legislatures, they can call a constitutional convention and rewrite our country's founding document.
