Dear Jack,

It's an election year and you can have input now on an important choice for this November—one we know you care about deeply because of our shared love for nature and the redwoods.

Right now, California lawmakers are deciding on critical funding for nature-based climate solutions. But two promising bond proposals are stalled in the Legislature—with only a short window to get a final version approved by Governor Newsom. The clock is ticking. If we want the opportunity to vote for redwoods and climate resilience in November, it's time to make some noise.

Act now and send a note to Governer Newson and your elected representatives today, asking them to place a $15 billion Climate Resilience Bond on the ballot.

Bond dollars will support wildfire resilience and reduce the risks of extreme weather to our local communities. It will ensure the redwoods are healthy and protected—so these amazing trees can continue to clean our air and water, sequester massive amounts of carbon, and provide all Californians with opportunities to connect deeply with nature.

Imagine seeing the bond on the ballot in November and knowing you played a role in advocating for a safer, stronger, healthier California.

Please send a note to your elected representatives today, asking them to support a $15 billion Climate Resilience Bond.

You know all too well how important investing in our natural world is. Thank you for understanding the urgent need to fund natural climate solutions TODAY.
