The letter underscores the need for regulatory compliance exemptions for oil and gas facilities complying with specific requirements, urging the EPA to narrow the definition of compliance and promptly grant exemptions.

Rep. Tony Gonzales Introduces Legislation in Support of Taiwan - U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales, a member of the Congressional Taiwan Caucus, introduced legislation that would require the U.S. Department of the Treasury to cease the U.S.-China Tax Treaty within 30 days of a Presidential determination that China has launched an armed attack on Taiwan. “Ensuring the safety and security of our partners in the Indo-Pacific region is essential to our nation’s economic and national security endeavors. This legislation sends a clear message to the Chinese Communist Party—if you invade Taiwan, severe consequences will follow,” said Rep. Tony Gonzales.
