John,
Thanks to our grassroots supporters like you, we just made history.
In case you missed it, our team released our first-quarter fundraising numbers yesterday.
We brought in a groundbreaking $3.1 million in Q1 - the MOST RAISED by a senate candidate in any quarter in Maryland history!
You know what’s even more impressive? This was all raised in just half of a quarter, since Gov. Hogan filed his candidacy only 52 days ago, midway through the first fundraising quarter.
Our team is incredibly humbled and grateful for this overwhelming show of support. We couldn’t have gotten this far so quickly without YOU.
Governor Hogan’s grassroots supporters like you have stepped up in a big way in the early days of this campaign.

The bottom line is this: in a race where Governor Hogan is likely to face either the billionaire trying to buy the election or the candidate of the Democratic machine, there is no doubt we are the financial underdog.
But if we keep up this pace, we will be able to stay competitive in this close race all the way to Election Day.
As we look to what’s ahead in the coming weeks, Governor Hogan is more focused and determined than ever to end politics-as-usual and deliver results for Marylanders in the U.S. Senate. He has continued his Back to Work Bus Tour this week, meeting with more voters all over our great state to truly understand the issues that matter most to them.
Now, it’s time to keep up the great work. If we let up, we risk falling behind our well-funded opponents.

Will you help us keep this amazing momentum surging?
Thank you for all of your support. Together, we just made history!
Sincerely,
David, Campaign Manager
