Last week, I joined my husband Tim Kaine as he kicked off his campaign for re-election to the U.S. Senate.
It was so special to watch him kick off this campaign right here in Richmond — where I grew up, where we raised our three wonderful children, and where Tim first began his career serving Virginians.

Every day, I see how Tim stands up for Virginia and our country. I see how he works to uphold our shared values and make Virginians’ lives better.
I love being on the campaign trail because I get to watch Tim talk about all that work with folks in every single city and town across our Commonwealth.
Tim’s track record speaks for itself: He has expanded educational opportunities and access to affordable health care for all Americans, improved quality of life for our troops, veterans, and military families, reduced military spouse unemployment, addressed the opioid crisis, and lowered prescription drug costs.
But what’s most important is his heart.
