Patti’s Pearls of Wisdom
View this email in your browser

Dear John,

It’s our annual Professional Development week at NeW! All week we have focused on programming and content to help the women in our network advance in the workplace. Our team has hosted panels and discussions with guest speakers who have shared advice on topics from crafting the perfect cover letter to finding the right professional mentor.

One of our PD week blog posts was penned by Patricia Rausch, Vice President of Education at the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors. Patti shared with us the hard lessons she learned at her first job.

Some of Patti’s lessons learned include offering constructive alternatives when a problem arises, prioritizing tasks in order of importance, and dressing with care for your job.

We are thankful that Patti takes the time to share her pearls of wisdom with our network! You can read her full blog here.

It’s not too late to join us for PD week! Our last session, So You Want to Get a Job in DC?, is scheduled for tomorrow,  April 12, at 12:30 pm ET. Register here!

You can also Check out our website for more fabulous professional development content.

Thank you for being a valued member of our network!

All the best,
