Soldiers' Angels Luncheons: Making a Meaningful Impact for Veterans

Soldiers' Angels volunteers Nationwide organize luncheons and dinners for Veterans, held at various locations such as VA Hospitals, domiciliary facilities, homeless shelters, or community centers accessible to Veterans of all generations.

Though it may seem like a simple act, the impact of providing a warm meal and heartfelt smiles to these individuals who have served our country can be profound. Inspiring Pawsitivity: Ellie & Emma Lead Massive Packing Event for Soldiers' Angels!

Furry, four-legged influencers Ellie & Emma from Ellie Golden Life [[link removed]] sparked a wave of kindness, inspiring a massive packing event at USAA headquarters to benefit Soldiers' Angels! Their mission: pack 1,400 items in just one hour—and they achieved it! Over 100 USAA employee volunteers united to assemble 700 box lunches and 700 hygiene kits within the hour.

Volunteers Needed for Baby Shower Support!

Soldiers' Angels offers more than just virtual baby showers; we also support in-person baby shower events at the VA. Handmade items like blankets and booties add a special touch to these occasions, formerly crafted by our Sewing and Crafting Team. Now, with our new structure, all Angel volunteers can join in! Soldiers' Angels Hops for Heroes is now open for registration, and we're thrilled to announce a fantastic lineup of breweries [[link removed]] ready to brew their support for our Service Members and Veterans. But we're eager to expand even further and could use your help in spreading the word and recruiting more breweries!

Here's how you can lend a hand:

Reach out to a brewery and fill them in on Hops for Heroes! Direct them to the Hops for Heroes section of our website [[link removed]]. They can read all the details and register. New this year, homebrewers can participate in the campaign! Be sure to share with any homebrewers you know too!Share the details with our Hops for Heroes team. After you reach out to one (or ten!) breweries, contact Leah and let her know the names of the breweries you reached out to and the person you spoke with. As a thank you for your help, staff and volunteers who successfully recruit a brewery will receive a $100 Visa gift card after that brewery officially registers and is approved to participate!
