I’m reaching out to you with a different kind of ICYMI today (don’t worry, you’ll still get our regular edition tomorrow!) . But today, with hundreds of Iowans driving down to the state capitol to rally in support of reproductive rights after the Arizona Supreme Court effectively banned abortion in Arizona, and as our own Supreme Court deliberates on whether it will do the same, I felt that this email was too important to wait another day.
Abortion and IVF aren’t just policy buzzwords – they’re real, critical parts of the life stories of so many Iowans. Part of what we want to do at IDP is amplify these stories and make sure that legislators know that they’re affecting real people when they put their extremist policies on the legislative floor.
