We are certainly living in uncertain times. Our lives are disrupted, and our concern is deep. But our work doesn’t stop. Sexual assault doesn’t stop.
As you know, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Our theme is Consent is Essential. It is a variation on the national theme of “I Ask.” In this time of determining and discussing what is essential and what is non-essential during the pandemic, we need to be very clear that consent is always essential.
We look forward to sharing our calendar for the month with you. We’re inviting you to start the month with something fun. Our annual Teal the Canal was scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 4th.
We can’t gather this year – but we can still teal! Click this link to access a coloring page of an outline of the canal and the downtown skyline.

Please take a few moments to color the page. Tomorrow, post a picture of you and your artwork (or just your artwork if you prefer) to Facebook and Instagram. Please include the hashtag #consentisessential and tag us at @icesaht.
Please share with your families, friends and colleagues.
We look forward to seeing your creativity.
Thank you! Take care and stay well.
