WHERE:? Oakland County Board of Canvassers Training Room ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Oakland County Courthouse ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? 1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Pontiac, MI 48341 ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? (use north entrance)
WHY:? The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to verify the functionality, accuracy and security of the voting equipment to be used for the AVCB and early voting.
"Yes, we are testing our equipment again. This is done before every election to ensure our elections are accurate and secure,? said Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds Lisa Brown. ?If you can't make it this time, we will be publicly testing our equipment again before the August and November elections this year as well.?
The School District of the City of Hazel Park, Huron Valley Schools, Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, and Goodrich Area Schools have ballot proposals this election.
