Fellow conservative,
This is a very tough time for our country. Our families are worried about their loved ones, their jobs, and economic stability right now. And rightfully so.

Here's some good news: We will get through this. We will fight. We will persevere. It's the American way. It's what Texans do.

Over the past few weeks, we thought it best to put a moratorium on fundraising while we address the Coronavirus outbreak. This has obviously been no time for partisan politics.

Despite that, unfortunately, my opponent Wendy Davis couldn't resist taking shots at me. In fact, she's averaged a couple attacks each week over the past month.

During this time of local and national distress, I’ve done my very best to continue being a champion of small businesses, health care providers, and first responders in our district. We've constantly assessed how this is affecting employees and employers in TX-21. Of course we're in un-chartered waters and we have to balance saving lives with making sure prevention measures don't do more damage than the actual virus itself.

Had Wendy been in Congress during this challenging time, she would've been standing alongside Nancy Pelosi, adding billions of dollars in unrelated pork projects, like $25 million for the Kennedy Center, to a bill that was supposed to provide immediate relief for those affected by the Coronavirus.

That’s what she would be -- a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the far-left of the Democrat Party. You deserve someone who represents what we believe in Texas.

If you're hurting in any way from this pandemic, we completely understand that you can't help our campaign financially. It will take time for many Texans and Americans to get back on their feet.

But there are other ways you can help stand for liberty! You could volunteer for the campaign by making phone calls, engaging online, and other voter outreach. ([link removed])

If we had our preference, both campaigns would cease to fundraise at this time, but since Wendy refuses to stop fundraising off of this crisis, we can’t allow ourselves to unilaterally stop asking our supporters to continue to donate.

It's critically important that we have conservative fighters in Washington who will stand up for our our health, safety, economy and freedoms.
