April Newsletter: StatVentures Supply Chain Challenge Phase 2 Winners, Apply to the Address Geolocation Challenge, Submit a TOP 2024 Problem Statement

This week, the U.S. Census Bureau announced the Phase 2 winners of StatVentures Supply Chain Challenge. The challenge invited innovators outside the government to submit a roadmap for improved supply chain data that demonstrated feasibility, a clear path forward, and a value proposition or potential return on investment for the Census Bureau.
The Phase 2 winners include a diverse array of organizations and collaborations:
* Bunting Labs, Inc [ [link removed] ]: Leveraging Earth Observation to Track Global Supply Chain Health.
* Made in Manchester [ [link removed] ]: An Open Alternative for Online Commerce.
* Transautomata, LLC [ [link removed] ]: Real-Time Supply Chain Risk Monitoring System.
* Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC) [ [link removed] ]: Regional Insights for Emerging Supply Chain Threats.
* GenLogs Corporation [ [link removed] ]: Automated Supply Chain Intelligence Gathering via GenLogs Trident Sensors.?
* Mongata [ [link removed] ]: Enhancing Resilience: Integrating GPM Data for Informed Supply Chain Decision Making.
* Process & Strategy Solutions, PLLC [ [link removed] ]: Capture of U.S. B2B Reverse Supply Chain Activity.
* Refashiond OS, Inc. [ [link removed] ]: Building Data Connectivity Across U.S. Manufacturing Supply Chains.
The winning teams, chosen for their unique approaches and potential impact, will receive monetary rewards totaling $350,000. Teams will also have the opportunity to compete in Phase 3 of the challenge, where technologies and approaches will be further developed and tested in real-world scenarios.

Do you have a technology, method, or data source that could help to produce more complete, accurate, timely, and granular data about locations of residential addresses in the United States, especially in rural and remote areas? Learn about this challenge and submit a concept note before April 19! If your concept note hits the spot, it could win you $10,000, and ultimately an opportunity to pursue? adoption by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Each year we welcome problem statement submissions [ [link removed] ] focused on priority areas at the heart of your agency?s or organization's mission. In 2024, The Opportunity Project is exploring the themes of:
* Increasing data AI readiness and integration
* Developing a workforce for the future
* Advancing American manufacturing and entrepreneurship infrastructure?
We also welcome submissions on a topic of your choosing that is within the scope of the TOP process! Check out past sprints and problem statement documents [ [link removed] ].?
Additionally, in 2024, we are excited to build upon the success of the first-ever TOP sprint focused on Indigenous Communities [ [link removed] ]. We hope to implement two to three sprints focused on pressing challenges facing Indigenous Communities and welcome your proposals.??
