But first, in case you missed it: The Arizona Supreme Court just upheld an 1864 state law that bans nearly every abortion in the state.
Let’s be clear: This horrific decision is the latest in a campaign by anti-abortion activists and MAGA politicians to ban abortion nationwide.
And they won’t stop there. They are also coming for IVF, birth control, and all forms of reproductive health care.
This isn’t just another issue to me. I decided to run for office the night Donald Trump was elected President because I recognized the threat to reproductive freedom.
That’s why, in the past six years in the State Senate, I have sponsored legislation to:
• Expand access to safe abortions.
• Block dangerous hospital mergers.
• Extend postpartum healthcare coverage.
• Strengthen our network of abortion providers.
• Require all health plans to cover reproductive healthcare and contraception, and more.
With your support, I will go to Congress as a proven champion for access to abortion and all forms of reproductive healthcare.
And I will work tirelessly to codify the protections of Roe v. Wade into federal law — so no person will have their lives dictated by a law passed in 1864!
