Earlier this week, Pennsylvania House Republicans held a hearing on the effects of President Joe Biden’s ban on natural gas exports.

Their verdict: The ban is economically devastating for Pennsylvania.

And it’s not just Republicans saying so. Pennsylvania’s two U.S. senators, both Democrats, have come out against Biden’s ban. Moreover, during the hearing, Pennsylvania Building and Construction Trades President Robert Bair spoke favorably on the need for natural gas exportation.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, alongside industry and labor leaders, agree that the commonwealth’s natural gas supply is a valuable economic resource for Pennsylvania.

That means Biden must reverse his natural gas export ban immediately.
