Numbers That Tell a Story This English activity is a great way to get your middle school students excited about numbers ? and what they can tell us. Students can use our State Facts for Students data tool to analyze Census Bureau statistics about their state?s population and businesses. Once they?ve discovered the facts, they can break into small groups and discuss what they?ve learned. This is a great way for them to practice and improve their oral communication skills.
