Lisa Anderson | Director of Young Adults
As you read this, I’m at the Mayo Clinic with my sister Martha as she gets a kidney checkup two years post-transplant. Can you believe it’s been two years?! God has been so good to work in her life through this, giving her new reasons to proclaim His faithfulness and kindness to her. Similarly, I was asked by one of you to share on this week’s show (listen in our

Inbox segment ) some of the biggest moments in my life — moments where God showed up and my world was irrevocably affected. Not all of these “God stops” were big from the outside, but the work done on the inside forever changed me.
It’s good for us to pause and think about things like these from time to time. Where has God met you in a significant way? What have you learned, where have you changed, what have you seen Him do? Take a few moments to think about those questions this week. Meanwhile, can you pause to pray right now for Martha and her appointments — that she’ll have a clean bill of health, but that ultimately God’s will be done and He will be glorified? We’re off to the next one in a few minutes, including a biopsy that will help determine the health of the kidney. God is good!
