A Republican congressional committee that represents the majority of House Republicans proposed a budget plan, and John, it’s not good.

Eliminating universal free school lunches is just one of the provisions. Here’s what else the GOP budget would do:

• Cuts to Medicare, Social Security, and the Affordable Care Act
• Increases to prescription drug, energy, and housing costs
• Tax giveaways for the ultra-rich 
• Raise the Social Security retirement age
• Send new manufacturing jobs back overseas
• Repeal $35 insulin and raise health premiums for seniors
• Weaken health coverage for seniors, children, and people with disabilities
