Friends, this spring we’re in the mood to clean house. Garbage belongs in the garbage can, and that’s where these lawmakers’ attacks on voting rights belong:
Max Burns
- Has a history of pushing voter suppression bills, including sponsoring SB 189.
- These attacks on voting rights disenfranchise Georgia's most vulnerable communities and are a clear strike against democracy.
Lt. Governor Burt Jones
- Since 2020, he’s been making it harder for Georgians to vote and he shows no signs of stopping.
- As the president of Georgia’s state senate, he’s supported legislation that attacks voting rights and even Ranked-choice voting.
Governor Brian Kemp
- Our poster boy for modern-day voter suppression — he signed bills to impose burdensome voter ID requirements, criminalized handing out food and water to voters in line, permitted mass voter challenges, targeted hardworking county officials, and denied them desperately needed election funds.
- We see him as the chief architect of modern-day voter suppression.
We take these anti-voter actions seriously, friends, and to help prevent future attacks on the freedom to vote, we’re asking you to make a gift of $25 right now.
Your donation will help ensure voters have the resources they need to access the ballot box, push back against voter suppression tactics, elect voting rights champions, and more. Let’s show Burns, Jones, and Kemp that we’re not backing down — we’re ready to clean house.
You power our work to protect the right to vote — thank you.
