Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust will host a free 1 hour webinar on Tuesday 30th April looking at the learnings from organisations awarded Department of Energy, Security & Net Zero funding to develop innovative and compelling financial solutions assisting retrofitting of measures that would improve home energy efficiency.

?

Upfront costs remain one of the critical barriers to accelerating the implementation of retrofit measures in UK homes.

?

The Green Home Finance Accelerator (GHFA) awarded grant funding to 26 projects to develop innovative and compelling financial propositions for homeowners, private and public rental sector. During this discovery phase, projects developed their concepts through extensive market and consumer research.

?

Join us in this webinar to hear their learnings on:

  • The transformative potential of close community engagement and property-linked finance.
  • Evolving trends in the behaviour homeowners exhibit when searching for energy-efficient homes.
  • The role of carbon credits in lowering the cost of energy-efficient home upgrades.
  • Utilising tools to prioritise retrofit initiatives across property portfolios or areas.

?

Who is this event for?

This webinar is relevant for all interested in financing energy efficiency improvements but focuses on the lessons learned by the GHFA projects that are relevant to social housing providers (Local authorities, housing associations), private housing providers (housebuilders, landlords) and property websites (Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket etc.).
