Team, As the legislative session comes to a close, I want to share some reflections about the current state of affairs. Throughout these past months, the contrast between the values and priorities of Republicans and Democrats has been starkly evident.
As the House Democratic Caucus Chair, I've witnessed firsthand the dedication of Governor Beshear and our fellow Democrats to crafting a vision for Kentucky that prioritizes the well-being and prosperity of all our citizens. Together, we've championed initiatives aimed at bolstering education, fortifying infrastructure, ensuring access to quality healthcare, and enhancing public safety.
But the GOP seems to have a different plan. From attempting to reduce SNAP benefits to relaxing child labor laws, and even trying to strip away lunch breaks from hardworking Kentuckians, the GOP's priorities are woefully out of line with the needs of Kentuckians. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your support to build on Governor Beshear’s momentous victory and elect more Democrats to the legislature who will fight for all Kentuckians.

While we remain steadfast in our commitment to moving Kentucky forward, it's disheartening to see Republicans focus on pandering to their extreme base. Instead of embracing policies that uplift all Kentuckians, they persist in regressive measures that leave many behind.
As we approach the final days of this session, we must continue our efforts to reshape the legislative landscape. By supporting state legislative races, we can elect leaders who share our vision for a brighter future for Kentucky.
