We have urgent updates on the situation in Gaza:

In Gaza, the scale of devastation is unprecedented, with approximately 1.7 million people displaced and entire communities obliterated. Famine is imminent in Gaza — half of its population, 1.1 million people, faces catastrophic food insecurity.

155,000 pregnant women and new mothers, along with their newborns, face dire circumstances, contending with severe shortages of food, water, and medical care.

But amid a situation that looks increasingly hopeless, emergency gifts from people like you have not stopped making a difference. Fueled by your support, UNFPA has distributed:

• 185 reproductive health kits to health facilities
• 20,714 lifesaving pharmaceuticals to assist women in labor
• 1,200 Mama Kits to new mothers
• 501,370 menstrual pads to women and girls who have nothing

As needs grow in Gaza, UNFPA’s operational response is only 47% funded. More gifts are urgently needed to reach women and girls facing devastation beyond belief.
