The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) settled a disability discrimination suit against the Olive Garden in Tarentum, Pennsylvania when the manager asked illegal questions about the applicant's disability.  The suit was settled for $30,000. The mission of the symposium is to lay the foundation for diverse Deaf leadership in the design of legal regulations for Automated Interpreting by Artificial Intelligence (AIxAI).

The hybrid symposium will take place on April 20-21, 2024 at Brown University (RI) and Zoom, from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and from 9 am to 2 pm on Sunday (Eastern).
