Join CAWL & CPI for a critical discussion with Theo Wold
EVENT ALERT
THE HEART OF AN AMERICAN EMPIRE
Join us, in concert with the Conservative Partnership Institute, for a lively evening as we welcome Theo Wold, Director of the Administrative State Project for the Claremont Institute, to the stage.
Wold will examine the societal vulnerabilities that result from decadence and moral deterioration. A culture’s material strength is not a sufficient predictor of its success or a guarantee of its survival.
Wold will draw upon historical events and figures to explore how we might navigate these unsettling times.
Theo Wold is the current Director of the Administrative State Project at the Claremont Institute.
Wold previously served as the Solicitor General of Idaho, as well as the Acting-Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Policy at the Department of Justice and Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy during the Trump Administration. Prior to his three-and-a-half years of service in the Trump White House, Wold previously served as Deputy Chief Counsel to United States Senator Mike Lee on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Wold holds a B.A. from Georgetown University, where he studied government and English; an M. Litt. from the University of St. Andrews, where he studied English literature; and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame. Wold clerked at the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit for Judge Janice Rogers Brown and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico for Judge José Antonio Fusté.
