Friend of Trust for Public Land,

Thanks to your persistent advocacy, the House of Representatives just
passed the Outdoors for All Act as a part of a package of bills. This
legislation will allocate funding to create parks and enhance outdoor
recreational opportunities, especially in economically disadvantaged
areas and communities with limited park access. But our work is not
done-we need to shift our focus to the Senate.

I've seen firsthand the transformative power of parks and green spaces
in communities. They serve as vital hubs for health, connection, and
resilience. Yet, it's alarming that one-third of
Americans-including 28 million children-lack safe, easy
access to a park within a 10-minute walk of home.

Kids and communities need access to nature. That's why
I'll be joining TPL advocates on Capitol Hill next week, meeting
with senators to champion the Outdoors for All Act.

Will you help amplify our message? Send your letter today and let your
senators know you stand behind increasing access to the
outdoors.

This critical legislation is even more important because, for the
first time, it will extend funding to tribal nations, Indigenous
communities, and smaller towns, aiming to make hundreds more
communities, cities, and towns eligible.

This is a significant step in addressing the need for access to nature
nationwide. Will you join us as we urge senators to support the Outdoors
for All Act?

Thank you for making your voice heard as we gear up to meet with
legislators in Washington, DC.
