Nottingham this week 3 April - 9 April
 Coronavirus
Current advice from Public Health England is to stay at home to save lives and only go out when absolutely necessary for food, medicine, work or exercise.
Please avoid non-essential use of public transport, however if you do have to travel please ensure you continue to follow social distancing advice; avoid standing near other passengers and use hand sanitiser/wash your hands after touching surfaces.
Please do not travel if you are feeling unwell or are showing any symptoms of Coronavirus, including a new continuous cough or high temperature. For more information and advice on symptoms of the virus, please visit gov.uk/coronavirus
Many of our travel operators and partners are operating a reduced service and are making every effort to keep you safe if you must travel. We will try to keep you updated of any service changes as a result via our website and social media, but please check with your individual operators before you travel. Changes include:
🏥 The Medilink continues to run regularly to help key workers get to work. CT4N are only operating the 14, 18, 29, Medilink, L1, L2, L4, L9, L14, L73, L74, L75, W1 services.
Service 18 is operating an emergency timetable between Stapleford and Nottingham.
🚍 All bus operators in the city are now running reduced services.
From Sunday 5 April, Trent Barton are making changes to their Sunday services and there are changes to weekday timetables for some skylink services. Further details of these changes can be found online.

🚊 Nottingham’s tram network has adjusted its timetable to reflect current levels of demand and are currently operating a Sunday service.
🚆 All train operators are running on reduced timetables and all enclosed waiting rooms at stations have closed until further notice.
The Northern service from Nottingham - Leeds has been suspended.
EMR are doing some major route improvement works between Market Harborough and Bedford on Saturday 11 April. Buses will replace trains in both directions. For more info check here...
The EMR ticket station at Nottingham Station will be open at reduced hours:
🕒 Monday-Saturday: 5am - 9:30pm
🕒 Sunday: 7:15am - 9pm
🚏 From Sunday 5 April National Express will be suspending all of their services until further notice.

 Cycling
Cycling is a great form of exercise and good for your mental health too. However, please follow guidelines on physical distancing and keep at least 2 metres apart and not in groups. Only ride on routes you know well, that are close to home and within your ability level.
🚴 If you share your bike with people of the same household, ensure you follow government guidelines on cleaning surfaces, such as handlebars, avoid touching your face, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using your bike, and don’t forget to wash any gloves you are wearing.
RideWise Emergency Bike Bank
Ridewise have launched an Emergency Bike Bank to support essential workers who are struggling to get to their homes, communities or workplace due to the current restrictions and reductions of public transport services.
Help them by donating to their fundraiser or by donating a bike that can be used by someone who needs help during these difficult times.

Tuesday 24 March - Monday 13 April: Waterway Street West
Lane closure adjacent to Plumb Centre for gas main diversion.
Friday 3 April - Saturday 2 April: Nuthall Road
Lane closure at the junction with Melbourne Road for emergency gas works.
Saturday 4 April - Thursday 9 April: Hucknall Road
Three way lights at the junction with Alexandra Street while an electric link box is replaced.
Sunday 5 April: Sheriffs Way
Lane closure at the junction with Carrington Street and Arkwright Street for a new water connection to be placed.
Clifton Bridge A52
Clifton Bridge continues to operate under one eastbound Lane. Highways England are continuing investigations.
