As if things couldn’t get any worse, the Trump administration is back at it again in attempting to exploit a crisis and rollback critical environmental protections. This week, the administration announced a new rule that would allow vehicles on American roads to emit nearly a billion tons more carbon dioxide over the cars’ lifetime. Last week, Trump's EPA used the coronavirus as an excuse to indefinitely stop enforcing environmental laws. 

 

Today, Trump will be meeting with seven oil executives – ​and what do you think they will ask for? A bailout for the most polluting industry in history!

 

Friend, we need your help now more than ever. Can you call your Congressional Representative and urge them to keep the Trump administration accountable and avoid a bailout for Big Oil?

 

We can’t let the Trump administration continue these attacks on the environment and our health when they should be focusing on bigger things at hand (like responding to a global pandemic). We need to hold them accountable!

 

We can’t allow corporate polluters take advantage of this vulnerable time and move us backwards. We won’t stop fighting for our future.
