John, we wish we were coming to you with better news.

The Arizona Supreme Court reached a decision today that will lead to a complete ban on abortion in our state.

A law was passed in 1864 — during the Civil War, before Arizona was a state, before women could even vote — that completely bans abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest.

The Arizona Supreme Court decided that this 160 year old law is enforceable.

Here’s how Kari Lake described the law back in 2022:

“I am incredibly thrilled that we are going to have a great law that’s already on the books.”

This is a tough time. For a lot of you, it’s a frightening time. But it is also a time for action.
