Intelligence agencies may have to find a new way to spy on Donald Trump
<[link removed]>
Despite House Speaker Mike Johnson’s best efforts, permanent Washington’s
treasured spying program, FISA, will expire next week.
This was solidified today when Johnson’s proposed renewal, which would have
enabled shadowy intelligence agencies to continue their broad domestic
surveillance campaigns, was voted down in Congress.
That vote was a good thing, but how long will this victory last? Not long if
D.C. bureaucrats get their way. The FISA program is what allowed them to spy on
Donald Trump, after all. They don’t want to lose that power.

From Tucker’s monologue:
“If there’s one thing the Republican Party, the opposition party, should be
doing in response to [America’s intelligence agencies working to rig the
presidential election], it’s fighting back against this descent into
totalitarianism. They should be working to return freedom and democracy to the
country. They should defend the Constitution. They should reign in these
agencies, Washington’s secret police. But you will not be surprised to learn
they’ve been busy doing just the opposite.”
