Abortion rights are on the frontline this year, and Democrats up and down the ballot are continuing to fight to protect Arizonans’ reproductive rights.

At every turn, radical Arizona Republicans have worked to ban abortion and reproductive access, including cosponsoring the Life at Conception Act which would ban all abortions nationwide and does not carve exceptions for IVF treatments, sending HB 2427 to Governor Hobbs desk that would establish the foundation for fetal personhood (which Governor Hobbs swiftly vetoed), and have even made disgusting comments including telling Arizonans to “put [Aspirin] between your knees,” in order to prevent pregnancy.

Attorney General Kris Mayes has vowed to never prosecute a woman or doctor over abortion access. The difference between having a reproductive rights champion in the AG’s office over an anti-abortion extremist who could revel in yesterday’s dangerous decision was just 280 votes. THIS is why we’re fighting like hell to elect Democrats up and down the ballot who will protect our freedoms.

We have the opportunity to protect abortion in Arizona for GOOD this November by enshrining reproductive rights in the state’s Constitution, but we need to mobilize a pro-choice majority in ALL 15 counties in order to get there.
