CNN has referred to Cruz's seat as the most vulnerable in the senate, and it's no wonder. If there's one truism in politics, it's that everybody hates Ted Cruz. 

Allred, meanwhile, represents the best America has to offer. He was raised by a single mother public school teacher and went on to join the NFL and later Obama's administration. He flipped the district of an 11-term Republican incumbent to reclaim the House in 2018. 

This is a golden opportunity for not only a critical Democratic Senate pick up, but also a moment to remove someone from Congress who denies election results, abandons his constituents in a crisis, and is universally hated by his colleagues. Ensuring engagement and funding in this race is vital. With a 2024 Senate map that is hyper competitive for Democrats, this seat is a must win. Without this pick up, MAGA has a clear shot at a Senate majority.
