Hi John -- this is Travis Brimm, DASS Executive Director.

Yesterday, Colorado Republicans tried, and failed, to impeach DASS Chair and Sec. Jena Griswold.

Let me be clear: this was nothing but a political stunt designed to discredit a democracy defender who has fought back against Donald Trump’s Big Lie time and time again.

The impeachment proceedings against Jena Griswold may now be over, but the never-ending attacks on our democracy aren’t going anywhere.

In fact, just this morning, we woke up to headlines about the unprecedented turnover and ongoing exodus of election workers in light of constant violent threats from the far right.

We need to get back to work and focus on what matters most: electing pro-democracy Secretaries of State who will protect the will of the voters, and defending access to the ballot box this November.

Democrats need to stay vigilant, which means putting our resources where they can have the biggest impact:
