The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments for Trump's
"absolute immunity" case on April 25.^1 Justice Clarence Thomas has yet to
recuse himself from the case despite having several conflicts of interest.

Trump cases NOW?

Justice Thomas's wife, Ginni, supported the January 6 "Stop the Steal"
rally and played a key role in the scheme to overturn the 2020 election.^2
That's right. Justice Thomas is expected to rule on this case when it has
clear implications for his own wife. If the Supreme Court rules that Trump
doesn't have absolute immunity from his crimes, then Jack Smith's federal
election crimes investigation will be able to move to trial and could
potentially reveal more evidence in Ginni and Clarence's role leading up
to January 6.^3

If the court rules in Trump's favor, the right-wing-packed Supreme Court
would declare that Donald Trump is above the law. We cannot allow that to
happen. And we can't let Clarence Thomas get away with further corruption
on the nation's highest court. [ [link removed] ]Will you sign the petition now to put

Donald Trump packed the Supreme Court with right-wing justices and will
now use that in his favor to escape accountability yet again. We can't
allow corrupt justices to rule in Trump's favor and pave the way for him
to enter the White House again.

The Supreme Court even hearing the Trump immunity case is delaying Trump's
federal election interference trial—which is a part of his strategy to
push all of his trials to after the election—which could stop voters from
hearing the truth about his attempt to overturn the 2020 election and stay
in power.^4

There is too much on the line with this upcoming case. For the Supreme
Court to consider these cases with any impartiality, it's critical that
justices with conflicts of interest recuse themselves. Clarence Thomas has
a clear conflict of interest related to this case. And the Supreme Court's
code of ethics even says that a justice should not allow family, social,
political, and other relationships to influence their official conduct or
judgment.^5

Supreme Court corruption is out of control. Justice Thomas recusing
himself from these cases would be a step in the right direction to stop
outside influence on the court. But it's not enough, so we will keep
working to rebalance the court, pursue impeachment of corrupt justices,
and pass other reforms that restore the integrity of our judicial system.
