This territorial law is horrifying. It attacks our most basic rights, doesn’t include exceptions for rape or incest, and criminalizes doctors and anyone else who helps a woman get an abortion.
It has been on the books for 160 years, but after Roe v. Wade, it became unenforceable. For decades, women and girls in Arizona were protected from this archaic law. That ended with Dobbs — a Supreme Court decision Kirsten’s opponent, Juan Ciscomani, “applauded.”
Ciscomani is now trying to distance himself from these extreme restrictions on reproductive rights. But he paved the way for these attacks, celebrated the end of Roe, and voted to restrict abortion access across the country.
Republican lawmakers can’t avoid their responsibility for this.
Kirsten is unapologetically pro-choice. She is proud to be endorsed by Planned Parenthood, EMILY’s List, and Reproductive Freedom for All. She’s the voice we need fighting for our fundamental rights in Congress.
This is one of the most flippable seats in the country. Will you help Kirsten turn AZ-06 blue and fight for our reproductive rights by chipping in now?
