It doesn’t take much digging to see Mad’s commitment to protecting and preserving our environment, air, water, and land for future generations:
- Founding member of the bipartisan congressional PFAS Task Force to take on “forever chemicals”
- Introduced H.R. 2600, the Toxic PFAS Control Act, which bans the manufacturing and processing of PFAS chemicals and requires the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate their disposal
- Voted in support of the Inflation Reduction Act, the most significant climate legislation in U.S. history. The IRA funds and incentivizes the much-needed transition to clean and renewable energy.
- Voted in favor of H.R. 9, which requires the President to re-enter the United States into the Paris Climate Accords and formulate a strategy to implement and achieve the climate targets
