I’m sorry to say that this IS the reality we're facing today under The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act . It's clear: the Act is being abused to unfairly target pro-life advocates. Would you believe that we live in a nation where peaceful protest leads to an 11-year prison sentence? I’m sorry to say that this IS the harsh reality we're facing today. President Biden’s Department of Justice has increasingly weaponized the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act against pro-life advocates. Prosecutions seeking jail time under the Act have skyrocketed, almost entirely targeted at pro-lifers. Meanwhile, outright vandalism and destruction of property to pro-life clinics and centers is punished with a mild slap on the wrist.

The Department of Justice has shown its bias by declaring war on pro-life advocates. As I send you this email, 14 pro-life advocates are on the brink of spending the next decade behind bars. Even more alarming, six activists recently found "guilty" under the FACE Act were simply praying and singing at an abortion facility. The unfairness is glaring. Congressman Chip Roy explains exactly what’s wrong in an email to our office:
“The FACE Act is being used for completely different purposes than what it was originally sold as. It is now being used to weaponize the power of the DOJ to legally harass pro-life Americans at disproportionate rates. “We’re seeing pro-life sidewalk counselors targeted while simultaneously failing to protect pregnancy centers and churches from arson, vandalism, and violence – especially in the wake of the Dobbs decision.”
(Note: We’ve requested data on FACE Act prosecutions since October of 2022 but continued to be stonewalled by the DOJ.)” It's no secret that the FACE Act has been used by the radical pro-abortion Left to target and punish pro-life activists with criminal sentences and jail time. We have a chance now to smash that weapon and stop this abuse of power. If we don’t fight now, the unlawful prosecutions will keep growing. Pro-life advocates will continue to feel the brunt of this biased law. But the repeal of the FACE Act will empower and protect the movement to help save the lives of mothers and babies by allowing mothers to be given the help and support that they need.
