Commerce seeks input on Climate Commitment Act funding applications?
Commerce will begin accepting public comments on a proposed RFA for the State Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program. The proposed solicitation will make approximately $21,475,00 in funding from the Climate Commitment Act available for third-party program administrators to provide rebates and incentives to low- and moderate-income households and adult family homes to install high-efficiency electric equipment and heat pumps.
Commerce posted a draft RFA on April 10, 2024. Stakeholders and potential participants in the program may submit comments via an online comment form.
Visit the State Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates Program webpage for more details on the program, to provide written comments, and access the RFA materials.
