Hi John,
I’m getting in touch to share with you an exciting new resource, which has been made by our very own Global Justice Now Youth Network, with professional radio producers: a podcast digging deep into the topic of corporate courts.
In The Secret World of Investor Courts, our youth activists explore corporate power, colonialism and climate justice through the shadowy realm of trade deals and Investor-State Dispute Settlement, or ISDS, which we have long campaigned against.
The 4-part series includes interviews with international experts and experienced campaigners, diving into case studies from around the world and really getting to grips with the system’s colonial history, how injustice is structured into it, its relationship to climate change as well as ending notes of hope – the wins against ISDS, solutions and ways out for the future.

Hear from lawyers, academics and campaigners from Argentina, Chile and Indonesia, a former South African trade minister, and some familiar voices from the Global Justice Now team, as well as the reflections and analysis of our youth activists who've worked hard to present this jargon-dense issue in an accessible way.
The Secret World of Investor Courts was made and is presented by youth network members Natalia, Misha, Alfie, TJ, Lisa, Neve, Ranecia, Ella, Ludo, Georgie, Jamie, Luise and Barasha, with support from Global Justice Now, and edited and produced by Nada Smiljanic, with executive producer and facilitator Jesse Lawson, original music by Femi Oriogun-Williams and artwork by Fen Williams.
