The humanities are in free fall on college campuses today.
We have become so focused on the sciences that we have forgotten the power of the humanities to strengthen America. Without the humanities, we are missing a key source of knowledge and understanding that could help guide and unite this country.
that's why Johnny Burtka, ISI's president, argues in Newsweek that to save American democracy, we need to return to the humanities.
