Friends, 

Sometimes when I’m really busy and feel overwhelmed, I like to go for a walk to clear my mind. Plus with the nicer weather, I have no excuse to not take a quick outdoor walk!

But before I head out, I wanted to send you an update.

I had a call with my finance team this morning, and they told me our fundraising numbers were looking low.

I’m not going to tell you that falling behind on fundraising is the end all be all of our campaign. But the more money we raise, the better chance we have to stand up to GOP attacks, retake the House, and continue our progress for Michigan families.

I wouldn’t be doing my part if I didn’t ask: Will you please chip in $25 today to help us compile the resources we need to win?
